Stained Glass CLASSES

This 2-hour class session is SIX (6) weeks long, held on Monday mornings from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon with Kathrene starting Nobember 18th, 2024, at our Rockland, Mass., store. 

We have designed the Beginner Stained Glass Course for those who have never worked with stained glass, or for those who have a very elementary knowledge. 

All necessary tools and materials will be provided.

This 2-hour class session is  SIX (6) weeks long, held on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with Brenda starting November 13th, 2024, at our Rockland, Mass., store.

All necessary tools and materials will be provided.

This 2-hour class session is four (4) weeks long, held on Thursday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with Brenda starting Thursday, November 21st, 2024, at our Rockland, Mass., store.

This class might be more accurately called a "Group Open Studio" session. If you have a project (or projects) that you could use a little extra help with, this course is for you! Bring your work-in-progress -- or one that you're just beginning -- as well as your own materials, and enjoy working among other intermediate and advanced students. You'll learn how to frame in zinc, how to improve your solder line, and many other insightful tips and tricks from our skilled instructor Brenda, whose extensive experience can open doors to new and better ways of achieving your desired outcome.

The course cost includes use of our workspace and equipment. You are encouraged to bring your own tools, and you must provide your own materials

This 2-hour class session is four (4) weeks long, held on Monday afternoons from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. with Kathrene starting Monday, November 18th at our Rockland store.

This course is designed for students who are experienced in stained glass work, but would like to learn some new, more advanced skills. Bring your own projects! If you do not have a project, one will be provided. In either case, students will need to provide their own glass.

You will learn how to use the Morton System and the Inland ScoreOne for precise glass cutting, as well as other useful skills and techniques, depending on the nature of the projects that students bring in. For example, one student may need to improve the strength and stability of her piece through strategic design and the use of reinforcing wires and rods. Another may need help in choosing colors and textures for greatest effect.

The group setting will open up many possibilities, and your instructor, Kathrene, will share her decades of experience in teaching and creating stained glass projects to help you bring your vision to life.

The cost for this 4-week course is just $100. The course cost includes use of our workspace and equipment. You are encouraged to bring your own tools, and you must provide your own materials.

This course is designed for students who are experienced in stained glass work, but would like to learn some new, more advanced skills. Bring your own projects! If you do not have a project, one will be provided. In either case, students will need to provide their own glass.

Our classroom tables are now available by the hour for Independent Studio Time, by prior arrangement.

To qualify for Independent Studio Time, you must have taken our beginner course, or have equivalent experience. You must provide your own tools and materials. You may use the classroom grinders and certain other tools and equipment.
