GLASS GLOBS, or "Nuggets" if you prefer a more elegant term. These are oval to circular glass drops with a flat back. No two are exactly alike, because they are made in somewhat the same way cookies are made, on a sheet in an oven.
They are typically transparent colors, and transmit an even brilliance when held in the light. They are easily wrapped in lead came or foil, and add greatly to the appearance of hanging ornaments when used as berries, eyeballs, and the like. In some ornaments they take the place of bodies and heads on birds, bugs, and other friends from the forest. In lampshade work the larger ones serve as grapes, cherries and crowd scenes at bull fights.
