By registering for a class, you agree to the following policies.
- All attendees must preregister.
- Refunds will not be issued once classes have started.
- All students are offered a non-transferrable discount of 10% in the store.
- Classes begin promptly at their scheduled time. They will not be extended for late attendees; nor will they be prorated.
- ONE makeup class will be allowed during any given session and must be made up before the end of the session. Rescheduled classes are at the instructors’ discretion. Sessions will not be prorated due to absence(s).
- Classes canceled by Whittemore Durgin will be scheduled at the discretion of the instructor. Every effort will be made to accommodate everyone.
- If minimum class attendance is not met, you will be notified and a refund or credit will be issued. Priority may be given for the next session.
- If unable to finish your project during the class session, you are welcome to book studio time (at the prevailing rate) to complete it.
- Independent Studio Students MUST bring their own tools (cutters, irons and pliers) and must supply all consumables (metals, chemicals, glass, etc). Students are welcome to use the workspace, grinders and saws when needed.
- Work in progress projects may be left from week to week while enrolled as a student. Projects MUST be taken home at the end of a session unless re-enrolled.
- Any projects, tools or supplies left behind for 60+ days, will be donated to the classroom.
- Workshop payments MUST be made prior to the workshop. No refunds will be allowed.
- For safety reasons, open toed shoes are NOT allowed in the studio. Only covered drinks are allowed in the classroom, no food, please.
