This no-lead solder is composed of approximately 97 percent tin and 3 percent copper. Because it doesn't contain silver, it's not quite as shiny as silver solder, but it's definitely shiny enough, according to our customers. It's also not as expensive as silver solder.This is ideal for copper foil projects that need to be completely lead-free. Nothing flows quite as well as the traditional 60/40 lead/tin solder, but you can get good results with this solder with a little bit of practice.
