Have you taken our beginner class, but don't quite feel ready to call yourself "advanced"? Then this Intermediate Stained Glass Class is for you!

Taught by Kathrene Corliss, this 5-week course will be held on Thursday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (next start date TBD), at our Rockland store. Kathrene is an expert stained glass artist, and an experienced and enthusiastic teacher.

Students will create a specific stained glass panel, designed by Kathrene in order to give you the opportunity to learn the many skills she will be teaching, such as how to use the Morton System for borders, how to cut circles, how to use the Inland Score One, and how to frame in zinc.

During the class you may use our Morton System, chop saw, circle cutter, Inland Score One, and Homasote work board. You will be asked to bring your own hand tools and materials (see below). You may borrow a soldering iron if you wish.

Please bring the following:

  • hand tools such as cutters and pliers
  • soldering iron (opt.)
  • one 12x16 glass for background
  • enough 8x12's or scrap glass to complete the design.
  • one 6-foot length of zinc for framing
  • enough copper foil and solder to complete the project

We know this will be a excellent course to add to your stained glass experience! Only $125 for 5 weeks!
