We were impressed with every one of the patterns in this book, which very nicely capture the graceful positions and unique costumes of 19 dances from around the world, including the waltz, cha cha, flamenco, Japanese fan dance, and Irish step dancing, as well as several ballet scenes. There are also some women who appear to be doing a dance to nature, or to the sky, or something; and some women who look like they're in a harem.

From our capacious basement, we have uncovered this ancient book (circa 1972, with various reprints) of line drawings, wash prints, and other depictions of cartoons and mechanics' renderings of stained glass windows. These are photocopies of studio catalogs, building supply company catalogs and brochures, put together into a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" bound book of 284 pages. The cover boasts "over 1000 designs" and truly, the authors are probably right. This is strictly an idea book. None of the drawings can be enlarged to become cutting diagrams. Some of the reproductions are poor, but back there in 1972 none of us was perfect. The cover is misleading, because those old studios didn't deal in that kind of naughtiness. Limit 3 per customer.
